About The Virginia Community Healthcare Foundation
Founded in 2023, The Virginia Community Healthcare Foundation (VCHF) advance the ideals of quality and affordability in healthcare services and health equity because we believe that every community health center (CHC) across the Commonwealth of Virginia should have the abundant resources needed to have the healthiest population in America.
To achieve this, VCHF:
- Builds upon and complements the efforts of Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA), supporting their vital work to enhance access to affordable, high-quality health care and to find solutions for expanding access to care in areas that need it most.
- Promotes quality, affordability, and cost-effectiveness in primary care and drives progress toward the ideal of health equity.
- Engages with diverse sets of donor partners in the success and growth of Virginia’s CHCs.
- Focuses on philanthropic investments to leverage and unlock other resources and maximize donors’ return on investment.
- Provides national models for strategic philanthropic collaborations with a primary community health focus.
