Adrienne Harden, RDN

Adrienne Harden serves as Virginia Community Healthcare Association’s (VCHA) Community Health Center Nutritionist and spearheads the Association’s Food as Medicine Program. In this role, Adrienne dedicates her time addressing the complex and unique dietary needs of a diverse patient population through comprehensive nutrition assessments, evidence-based nutrition counseling, and targeted education initiatives at VCHA’s member health centers across the Commonwealth.

Adrienne is a well-versed Registered Dietitian with over eight years of experience spanning clinical and community-based settings. Before joining VCHA, she provided inpatient medical nutrition therapy to adult and geriatric patients in hospital systems and long-term care facilities. She’s also fostered strategic partnerships with community programs, delivering nutrition education to individuals of all ages, promoting health equity, and wellness initiatives throughout the communities she serves.

Adrienne earned her degree from the University of Virginia with a double concentration in Sociology and French and completed her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at Virginia State University. She is passionate about public speaking, embracing diverse cultural experiences, and empowering individuals to develop healthy, positive relationships with food to support long-term wellness and vitality.
