In November, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced its 2022 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule. Within that 2,400 page document was the announcement of a significant increase in reimbursement rates for qualified CCM encounters!
- The 2022 rate of reimbursement is $76.94 per encounter for FQHCs & rural health centers. If you have 1,000 enrolled CCM patients, that’s up to $76,940 in new billing every month.
- The 2022 reimbursement rate for non-FQHC/RHCs is $62.16. If your clinic has 1,000 enrolled CCM patients, you’re looking at new billing of $62,160 per month!
