Year three of Community Health Center University is complete!
In early December, the CHCU Class of 2025, a group of current and emerging leaders from 17 Virginia federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and free clinics, came together at the University of Richmond campus to present their capstone projects and celebrate their graduation.
Over the course of the year, participants attended monthly learning sessions on subjects ranging from leadership and strategic planning to budgeting and data analytics, taught by professors and industry experts. They also participated in 10 individualized leadership coaching sessions.
Each participant developed a capstone project relevant to their work at their FQHC or free clinic. On December 5, they presented their projects to their peers and mentors. After presentations were complete, CHCU Program Director Dr. Angela H. Taylor presented each participant with a certificate of completion, co-branded with the University of Richmond.
