VCHA is proud to announce that four clinical health center locations will be selected to receive education, licensing, and materials to implement CenteringPregnancy®, at no cost to the selected sites, made possible through VCHA’s support. About CenteringPregnancy®

CenteringPregnancy is a nationally recognized, evidence-based model of group prenatal care that replaces traditional individual visits with two-hour group sessions combining clinical care, group support, and interactive learning. The model has been proven to reduce the risk of preterm birth and empower patients with the knowledge and community they need for a healthy pregnancy.

Program Eligibility

In order to be eligible to apply, a health center must:

  • Offer pre- and post-natal care
  • See over 100 pre- and post-natal patients annually
  • Identify 2 providers and 2 members of staff to participate
  • Complete the CenteringPregnancy assessment
