VCHA Welcomes New Member Bluestone Health Association, Inc.

HENRICO, VA (September 28, 2026) — Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA), the primary care association representing Virginia’s community health centers and look-alike health centers, welcomes Bluestone Health Association, Inc. as its newest member. With Bluestone Health joining the association, VCHA now represents 32 organizations serving communities across the Commonwealth, further expanding the reach of Virginia’s network of community health centers.

“We’re proud to welcome Bluestone Health Association to VCHA and to have their perspective represented within Virginia’s community health center movement,” said Tracy Douglas, VCHA Chief Executive Officer. “Bluestone brings decades of experience serving patients and communities, and their presence in Southwest Virginia adds an important regional voice to our association. We’re excited to learn from their experience and to support their continued work as part of VCHA’s community.”

With over 170 employees, including healthcare providers across multiple specialties, Bluestone Health provides annual healthcare services to over 20,000 patients. The Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) became eligible for VCHA membership with the opening of their Bluefield, VA clinic, located at 562 Virginia Ave Bluefield, VA, Virginia.

Bluestone Health operates six locations across West Virginia and Virginia, with a dedicated care team serving patients of all ages. Its clinical services include primary care, behavioral health, women’s health, and dental care, along with preventive services, chronic disease management, gynecology, and mental health care. Together, these services provide patients with access to a range of healthcare needs through one community health center.
