Daniel Neal serves as Director of Human Resources and Operations for the Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA). In this role, he is responsible for the overall operations of the Association, including managing all systems and processes, ensuring legal compliance and the implementation of VCHA’s mission and talent strategy. In addition, Daniel serves as the human resources Subject Matter Expert (SME) for VCHA’s member health clinics. He also leads VCHA’s HR peer group and personnel committee, comprised of Association and Board of Directors members.
Daniel possesses over 30 years of responsible and progressive experience in human resource management, both in the corporate environment and nonprofit healthcare and operations management. His professional experience includes executive level management, training, recruitment, and employee development.
Prior to VCHA, Daniel served for 10 years as Director of Human Resources for Social and Health Services (SHS). In this role, he discovered his passion for human resources and service to others. He prides himself on his ability to connect with others, as well as his ability to provide the highest quality service to employees who seek to be the best in their current role and to those who want to achieve great opportunities within their organization.
