Delores serves as the Senior Executive Assistant to VCHA’s CEO, Tracy Douglas. In this role, she works closely with Tracy to ensure the coordination and organization of her busy schedule, provides quick and clear communication with constituents, and supports VCHA’s Board of Directors.
Delores has a rich background in Human Resources, having worked in the field extensively before joining VCHA, as the HR Specialist with the City of Petersburg and the HR Executive for Teamsters Joint Council #83. In these roles, Delores was responsible for onboarding new employees, benefits administration, and recruitment and retention efforts. Delores also served as the Director of Education & Marketing for the REALTOR Association of Prince William, where she managed the annual Education budget, designed and implemented marketing materials and strategies, and worked closely with new and existing members of the association.
Delores attended John Tyler Community College (now Bright Point Community College) and Virginia State University with a concentration in Sociology and Psychology. Delores is continuing her education, but her passion is community volunteer projects in her hometown of Petersburg, Virginia.
