HENRICO, Virginia: The Virginia Community Healthcare Foundation (VCHF), a newly established nonprofit foundation dedicated advancing the ideals of quality and affordability in healthcare services and health equity, is thrilled to announce the addition of Erin Cary as the Foundation’s new Grants and Development Specialist.
In this new role, Erin will support the Foundation’s efforts in developing grant proposals and support requests, collaborate across teams to help prepare project-level budgets and justifications for grant requests and establish and maintain relationships with program officers and grant directors.
Prior to VCHF, Erin served as the Grants Specialist at Richmond Ballet, where they lead the grant writing process, including drafting, editing, and submitting proposals and managed preparation and reporting processes to collect data for grant submissions. Additionally, Erin served as the Programs Coordinator at The Arts Center in Orange, Virginia and held part-time positions serving the Music and Religious Studies Departments at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville.
