HENRICO, Virginia: The Virginia Community Healthcare Foundation (VCHF), a newly established nonprofit foundation dedicated advancing the ideals of quality and affordability in healthcare services and health equity, is thrilled to announce Michael Morelius as its new Executive Director. Morelius brings more than two decades of experience in the philanthropic sector, distinguished by a proven track record of success in fundraising and a deep passion for social impact.

Morelius’ passion for making a difference has been evident throughout his career. Prior to joining VCHF, he was the Associate Vice President for Development for Virginia Commonwealth University, where he managed several individual philanthropic projects. He also served as the Director of Development for Texas A&M University, consistently exceeding fundraising goals and developing innovative strategies to secure critical funding.
