PATHS Honors Veterans with Free Dental Services on Veteran’s Day

Piedmont Access to Health Services, Inc. (PATHS) celebrated in their new Danville Community Dental Center, located at 501 Rison Street, by providing free dental services including cleanings, fillings, and extractions on Veteran’s Day.

“We received an anonymous donation to serve our patients and we immediately thought about our Veterans. It brings us great joy to be able to provide dental services to 30 Veterans for free as a small way to say thanks for the great sacrifices they have made for us. We are hoping to make this an annual event,” shared PATHS Dental Director, Dr. Rachel Gatewood. In addition to dental services, Veterans were gifted food boxes, washable masks, and dental care kits.

PATHS CEO, Marsha Mendenhall, commented, “Veteran’s Day honors all of those who have served our country and it is a privilege for PATHS to be able to give back a little to those who have given so much.”

Coming up next, PATHS will have another free community COVID-19 testing, food box, and bookbag giveaway event this Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church. All are welcome to come.

PATHS is also excited to announce the December 7 grand opening of the new, larger Chatham Community Medical Center that will have more services including Pediatrics, Dental, OB/GYN, Behavioral Health, and a Pharmacy offering free delivery!
