HENRICO, VA (March 2, 2026) – Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA) is excited to welcome Tyler Brown as the association’s new Senior Healthcare Recruiter, Workforce Development Specialist. In this role, Tyler will deliver specialized recruitment services, sourcing strategies, and technical support to help VCHA’s member health centers attract and retain highly qualified clinicians, staff, and leaders. His work will play a crucial part in strengthening Virginia’s community health workforce and ensuring continued access to high‑quality, comprehensive care across the Commonwealth.
Tyler brings more than a decade of People Operations and full‑cycle recruiting experience, with deep expertise in healthcare, behavioral health, and professional services talent acquisition. Prior to joining VCHA, Tyler served as Talent Engagement Manager at Valera Health, where he built and advanced the organization’s Talent Acquisition function while providing strategic hiring support across IT, People Operations, Growth, Finance, and C‑Suite roles.
Throughout his career, Tyler has excelled in coaching hiring managers, implementing talent marketing and sourcing strategies, improving HR and recruitment processes, and collaborating across departments to strengthen culture and retention.

Tyler is a graduate of James Madison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
