Rae Carkhuff (he/they) serves as the Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA). They have over five years of experience in the Communications field. Before joining the Association, he worked in the public safety sector with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Before MADD, Rae worked in public education communications.
Rae works with the Marketing team to ensure that all communications from the Association are on-brand and timely, as well as maintains the VCHA website and social media accounts.
Rae received his associate’s from Greenfield Community College and their bachelor’s from Bay Path University. He is currently pursuing a master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University.
