HENRICO, Virginia: Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA) today announced it has been Certified™ by Great Place To Work®, reflecting the association’s unwavering commitment to fostering a positive and dynamic work environment. Findings from this year’s employee survey confirm 100 percent of VCHA staff said the association is a great place to work, well above the average U.S-based company at 57 percent.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as a great place to work because it reflects the strong engagement levels of our team,” said Tracy Douglas, VCHA’s Chief Executive Officer. “We take great pride in our culture, which we have carefully curated and continuously improve. Through Great Place To Work’s engagement survey, we gleaned important insights about our team’s sentiments towards our association, allowing us to celebrate the positives and learn where we can improve.”
The Great Place To Work® Certification™ is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors required for market-leading revenue, employee retention and innovation and is sought after worldwide with more than 10,000 companies across 60 countries applying each year. This distinction is based entirely on what current employees say about their experiences working at VCHA and the association’s philosophy for operating with trust, transparency, and integrity at every level of the organization.
“Great Place To Work® Certification™ is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that VCHA stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
According to Great Place To Work® research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
